Delightful Drama

Pantomime, Shakespeare’s plays, sci-fi scenes, warm-up activities, acting in films and on stage, pronunciation training, impro scenes and other tricks, all of these and many more keep us going when meeting every Tuesday afternoon for our English drama class.

Students and teacher contribute to the sessions, in which we learn more about theatre, drama techniques, the English language, and ourselves. Thus, we present interesting issues, always do hands on training, and develop little improvised scenes. Some of which we even film and consequently cut.

Thirdly, there is this other idea of staging some scenes or even a play. As we really like Shakespeare’s plays, we are currently working on ‘condensed’ versions of his plays. Hopefully, we can stage the one or the other and maybe play it to some fellow students. We will see how this encounter goes.

However, we can by all means already say, ‘Well roared, lionesses’!!! The women power group, all female students, is having a hilarious time and creating flabbergasting scenes.
