This month, our 3D English group has been dealing with poems – reading and writing about dilemmas and friendship, wishes and dreams. Finally, the students expressed their thoughts about different seasons, which resulted in icy poems about wintertime and poems about our longing for summer to arrive soon!
Snowflake
If I could be a snowflake
I’d come down to earth.
I know that I would die
but for the love of God, I would.
So if I could be a snowflake,
I’d make people smile
by just flying around.
Little kids would play with me
and their parents would watch with joy.
I’d make them smile
at least for a while
before I die.

Winter
Winter is something made of snow
the time when no plants grow
even though the Christmas tree
is as green as green can be.
The birds are flying to the house
where they get fed
the food and corns that they need
in times of winter
in times of snow
where only Christmas trees do grow.

Fun in the sun
In the summer it is hot
and the sun shines a lot
I am swimming in the pool
with a cold drink, that’s very cool.
With my friends, I’m having fun
My ice cream melting in the sun.
On the beach, playing volleyball
soft landing if I fall.
Going to a party at night
dancing in the neon light.
Falling into bed at last
unfortunately the holidays soon have past.

How summer can be
I’m lying at the beach, enjoying the view
the sound of the sea, it’s like music
if you could hear it too
behind me there are big trees.
I’m listening to the countless birds
I don’t know what to say
If I could find all these words.
Oh, what a wonderful holiday!
